Serving West Texas cities from a Lubbock desk
Distance here is ordinary. A two-hour drive is a Tuesday. Freight, pickup, and who can approve a proof from another city are the parts that break.
This guide is for coaches, office managers, and families who live in Lubbock’s orbit — or who need shirts to arrive in a city that is not the shop’s front door. It is not a travel brochure, and it does not invent a shop in every town.
Decide where the work happens
You can print in Lubbock and ship. You can use a shop in the event city. You can split: shirts in one place, hats in another. Each choice has a different failure mode. Shipping adds days and a box that can sit at a closed office. A local shop adds a new art conversation. Splitting the job adds two proofs.
City notes
Amarillo. Far enough that a pickup run wants to be planned, not improvised. If you use a Lubbock shop, ship to a person who will be home. A verified Amarillo listing is in the directory.
Midland and Odessa. Basin calendars are full of safety meetings and last-minute crew shirts. Ask about rush capacity in writing. Do not assume a Lubbock press is free the same week a Midland event is announced.
Abilene and San Angelo. Long drives. Local counters exist; we only named shops with a public address and phone. If you already have a Lubbock relationship, compare freight against a new setup fee.
Big Spring, Plainview, Snyder, Levelland. Smaller markets. We are not naming shops we could not verify. A chamber category or a social post is a lead. Call, ask where the work is printed, and get a street you can map.
What to ask any shop about another city
- Do you ship, and who pays if the box is late?
- Can a proof be approved by email from someone who will never visit the shop?
- Will you hold a split pickup for people driving in on different days?
- Is the art licensed for the school or club in that city?
For equal, verified listings, use the directory. For method questions, start with screen vs embroidery vs promo.
