Screen Printing Lubbock
A local guide for people who need shirts, hats, and giveaways — and want to understand the work before they call a shop.
Editorial intro
This is not a storefront. It is a desk: explain the three common methods, point to public shop listings, and keep the surrounding cities honest.
Lubbock orders shirts for rec leagues, churches, job sites, student orgs, and family reunions. The same questions come up every season: screen or stitch, how early to start, and whether a shop in town or a couple of hours away is the better fit. The pages here are written to answer those questions without ranking anyone.
Three methods
Ink is pushed through a stencil on a mesh screen. It favors bigger runs, bold color, and shirts that will be washed hard. Setup takes time; reprints of the same art get easier.
Thread is stitched into the fabric. It reads as more formal on polos, jackets, and caps. Small type can get muddy. There is usually no screen to burn, but digitizing still costs time.
Pens, totes, drinkware, patches, and event kits. Some items print locally; others ship from a catalog. Ask what is actually produced in the building versus ordered in.
How to use this site
Start with the method guide if you are still choosing ink versus thread. Use the shop-choice guide before you send art. The team-order guide is for coaches, secretaries, and anyone holding a roster.
It is not a ranking, a review site, or a sales funnel. Lubbock shops appear first, in alphabetical order, with the same card. A shop is listed only when a public website still matches the name, address, and phone we show. If we cannot verify it, we leave it out.
The map
People here routinely order from, or ship to, Amarillo, Midland, Odessa, Abilene, San Angelo, Big Spring, Plainview, Snyder, and Levelland. The directory notes what to look for in each place and names a shop only when the public listing is clear.
From the notebook
School seasons, church calendars, and the long stretch of West Texas events that all want shirts the same week.
Art, sizes, names on the back, and who is allowed to approve a proof when the coach is on the road.
